InTTENSITY Launches New Product: Social Media Command Center
InTTENSITY Corporation announces
its newest product, the Social Media Command Center ™ (SMCC). SMCC is a
web-based, thin client SaaS solution that processes content from 75 million
social media sources on an ongoing basis, including the Twitter firehose,
Facebook, and a variety of public blogs, forums, review and other targeted
sites in 32 languages. The SMCC infrastructure
allows the creation of distinct processing pipelines to filter and perform
specific, computationally-intensive semantic enrichment of social media.
InTTENSITY’s natural language
processing (NLP) technology combines the two top information extraction and
categorization capabilities in the market today, Inxight and Attensity,
into a single software solution. The
InTTENSITY software incorporates the industry-leading entity (Inxight
Thingfinder noun) and activity (Attensity verb/predicate) extraction capabilities
to provide a comprehensive picture of past, current and future events.
InTTENSITY’s Social Media Command
Center utilizes a lightweight, robust, real-time workflow engine to collect, sift,
route, process, and store social media content.
The rich thin client dashboards give metrics in the aggregate of
thoughts, events, and future planned events that are discussed in social
media.
Jason James, InTTENSITY CTO, says,
“Customers don’t have to make staggering IT hardware, bandwidth, and
subscription investments to stay abreast of the torrent of social media
content. It’s no longer a choice between absorbing content of interest and
making sense of it. SMCC gives you both in a browser-based application.”
InTTENSITY SMCC is leading the way
in developing metrics that can measure the reach and influence of bloggers and
identify those producing original thoughts or introducing memes. SMCC is best used as an indicators and
warnings (I&W) tool with dashboards that surface vital tweets and social
posts being promulgated throughout social media and other internet sources.
“Social Media has revolutionized
communication. While there are tools out there to help businesses make some
sense of social media – watch sentiment, etc., SMCC is the only tool specifically
designed to surface contextually important posts for organizations to monitor
what is being said and/or planned for the future. The InTTENSITY NLP can detect verb tense at the
speed of Twitter and distinguish posts that call followers to action”. The InTTENSITY NLP can perform many levels of
processing on content to understand huge streams of data at near-wire speed”,
said Peter Coddington, CEO of InTTENSITY.
